Dietary Supplement Services

What I Do

Supplements serve as concentrated sources of vital vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to supplements the normal diet and ensure health. The market for dietary supplements is growing significantly, with an estimated 9.8% compound annual growth rate of 9.8% expecting to reach $117.92 billion by 2027. With the outbreak of COVID-19, this growth can be expected to increase as the public become more aware of positive impacts of a nutritious diet. In the EU, food supplements are regulated as foods (EC No. 178/2002).

The European Commission has established harmonised rules to protect consumers against potential health risks and maintains a list of substances which are known or suspected to have adverse effects on health and the use of which is therefore controlled. As such, responsibility for the safety of these products lies with the food business operator placing the product on the market.
